Job Summary
Pick up and deliver water, soil, and air samples to and from the laboratory while maintaining quality, hold time, and turnaround time objectives. Prepare and deliver bottle orders to clients following SOPs, receive and stock control supplies, and perform on-site sampling events as needed. Transport samples on ice between client sites and subcontracted labs, unload and inspect for damage or violated hold times, and dispose of samples and hazardous waste according to EPA and EH&S guidelines. Maintain delivery truck records, verify bottle orders, and interact professionally with Project Managers and clients.
Required Qualifications
- Must be comfortable with driving in the NYC area
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen MUST be negative regardless of state ruling
- Must have a valid US drivers license without recent incident
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
- Must be authorized to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
