Job Summary
Courier Driver responsible for collecting and delivering parcels and various size boxes, lifting up to 50 pounds, and driving for several hours with multiple trips to airports and surrounding cities in New York City. The role requires evening and weekend work, maintaining a written daily activity log, and ensuring vehicle service and basic maintenance. The driver will handle time-sensitive samples/equipment between client locations and airports, navigate with GPS, and interact in a customer-centric, professional manner. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to prioritize deliveries are essential, along with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Required Qualifications
- High School completion or equivalent
- 1 or more years as a courier driver or experience is a plus
- Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be good with directions/using GPS
- Must be organized and be able to prioritize tasks/deliveries
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret verbal and written requests and directions
