Job Summary
Courier responsible for pickup and delivery of a wide variety of items across the DFW area in a safe, timely manner, following DOT regulations and company safety standards. Duties include following designated routes and schedules, maintaining logs and mileage/time documentation, handling mail duties as needed (folding, inserting, sealing, sorting), performing miscellaneous errands, collecting payments from clients, transporting office personnel/visitors, following hazmat procedures for mail handling, and performing other duties within scope as assigned. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license with a good MVR, and proven delivery experience; emphasizes strong organizational, time-management, and customer-service skills, plus ability to read documents and operate related equipment under variable conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license and a good motor vehicle record (MVR)
- Proven experience working as delivery driver or courier
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents
- Strong customer service skills
- Physical demands including lifting up to 50 pounds and driving
- Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jack
