Job Summary
Oversee county behavioral health operations by supervising staff, managing the county budget, and monitoring service delivery outcomes to ensure financial sustainability and growth. Directly support supervisors and providers while recruiting and retaining care teams, and collaborate with the regional director to implement operational strategies that enhance client care and mitigate health disparities. Analyze financial performance to identify cost-saving opportunities, develop fiscal budgets, and drive success using data analytics to capitalize on county opportunities. Maintain high ratings on state and federal quality measures, monitor policy compliance, and manage physical assets including vendor relations and maintenance requests. Travel extensively within the designated service area to support client care and operations.
Required Qualifications
- A high school degree or GED equivalent
- 5 years of direct relevant experience in healthcare, behavioral health or a related field
- 3 years of experience as a leader in a healthcare setting
- Budgetary experience
- Experience working within Electronic Health Record systems
- Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations
- Ability to analyze a monthly financial statement and prepare detailed budgets and operating forecasts
- A positive, innovative approach to problem-solving
- Presents ideas clearly, concisely, understandably, and organized
- Ability to work independently as a project leader and team member
- Ability to relate well with others, even while working at a distance or remotely
- Ability to work in an efficient manner with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and follow-through
- Excellent time management and general organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, e-mail systems, and web-based programs
- Advanced communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge to all local, state, and federal guidelines pertaining to HIPAA privacy standards and laws
- Knowledge of Medicaid regulations and compliance requirements
- A valid driver's license and the ability to operate a motor vehicle
- An appropriate level of auto insurance coverage
- The ability to maintain confidential information
- Ability to manage deadlines within a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Ability to operate in an Internet-based, automated office environment
- The ability to maintain a high-speed internet connection
- 50% of the travel in the field supporting client care and county operations, or more as needed
- Travel within the designated service area
Desired Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in social work, education, counseling, psychology, or another related field
- A master's degree in social work, education, counseling, psychology, or another related field
- Active license in the state of Ohio as an LSW/LPC, LISW/LPCC/PhD/IMFFT
- Experience working with multi-system youth, or individuals with autism and/or developmental disabilities
