Job Summary
Support daily projects for the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors, including generating social media posts, attending committee meetings, and assisting Supervisors with legislative projects, constituent services, and presentations. Manage constituent reports and events, sort records for historical retention, and provide front desk reception services. Prioritize assignments with moderate supervision while balancing multiple staff projects. This part-time role requires 20 hours per week during the Fall semester, with flexible business hours and occasional evening or weekend availability.
Required Qualifications
- Student pursuing an education at a university or technical school
- Focus on public policy, political science, rhetorical leadership, public and non-profit administration, and/or law
- High school diploma
- Proof of current enrollment at a post-secondary school
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Must have access to reliable transportation to attend in-person events or for in-person work in the County Board office

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and cloud-based applications
- Capable communicator with interest in public service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
