Job Summary
China-focused Country Sales Director leading China market strategy for wood-based panel products, owning direct B2B relationships with leading accounts and channel partners, guiding a local team, and driving double-digit turnover growth within 12–24 months. Responsibilities include key account management, designing and executing the China sales strategy across full product range, market development, distributor network development, reporting and intelligence, and team leadership. Requires native Mandarin, professional English, 5–8 years in B2B industrial sales, degree in a relevant field, strong negotiation and deal-closing ability, background in building materials, ~60% travel, entrepreneurial mindset, and proven ability to independently drive commercial strategy. Preferred: direct experience in wood/panel industry, executive MBA or strategic certifications, Salesforce proficiency, multi-regional sales leadership. Benefits include RMB 800,000–1,500,000 annual base salary, performance bonus, and comprehensive benefits. Location: Shanghai, China; full-time on-site role with significant travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, International Trade, Engineering, or comparable field
- 5 to 8 years of B2B industrial sales growth
- Excellent negotiation and deal-closing ability at senior corporate level
- Background in building materials, manufacturing, wood panels, furniture production, or related heavy industries
- Native Mandarin; professional working proficiency in English
- Approximately 60% travel, domestic and international
- Established market credibility and seniority to earn respect from major clients, partners, and industry figures in China
- Proven ability to independently formulate and execute commercial strategy
