Country Operations Technical Project Advisor I

Job Summary
Contribute to the development and implementation of the project's technical activities, including introducing innovative approaches in quality of care and demand generation. Oversee specific project deliverables to ensure timely completion in accordance with quality standards. Provide technical assistance and training to build the capacity of project staff, partners, and stakeholders while synthesizing lessons learned and disseminating best practices. Undertake regular field monitoring to ascertain progress and utilization of resources against the workplan, offering timely recommendations for follow-up. Synthesize documentation for management and donors to support decision-making processes. This role involves more than 30% international travel across multiple countries.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
- Master's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field
- At least 5 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrate solid technical knowledge in FP program implementation
- Expert proficiency in English (essential- spoken and written)
- Expert proficiency in the language of the applicable country and/or region
- More than 30% international travel
- References will be required
- The successful candidate will be required to pass a background check
- Must be authorized to work in the country they are applying from
- N.B. PSI will not consider work visa sponsorship for this position
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree (or international equivalent) in a related field preferred (e.g. MPH, MSc, etc.)
- knowledge in self-administered contraception is preferred
- Familiarity with a quantitative or qualitative data analysis program preferred
- French fluency preferred
- Cultural humility and respect
