Job Summary
Country Manager - Taiwan is the single-threaded owner of BJAK’s Taiwan business with full P&L responsibility, overseeing market entry, regulatory licensing, insurer partnerships, product and platform development, revenue growth, cost control, and scalable operations. Responsibilities include developing market entry and business plans, securing regulatory licences, building distribution partnerships, leading platform launches with product and engineering teams, driving rapid product iteration for product–market fit, establishing high-performance operating processes, and representing the group with insurers, regulators, partners, media, and stakeholders. Requires 7+ years of experience in insurance, fintech, or high-growth tech, strong analytical and leadership skills, and deep understanding of the Taiwan insurance market and regulatory environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in insurance, fintech, digital platforms, or high-growth technology companies
- Experience working in a regulated insurance environment is a plus
- Strong leadership capability with experience building and managing cross-functional teams
- Understanding of the Taiwan insurance market, regulatory environment, and distribution landscape is a plus
