Job Summary
Lead the strategic direction and execution of the New Zealand Food business, driving operational excellence across laboratory teams and disciplines. Own the New Zealand P&L, budgets, revenue growth, and profitability while leading a high-performing team in laboratory operations, technical services, commercial, and client services. Drive business development, client retention, and market growth initiatives, partnering with ANZ and global teams to implement best practices and champion digital transformation. Ensure excellence in quality, HSE, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness while building strong relationships with key customers, regulators, and industry bodies. Identify investment opportunities to support long-term business growth. Report to the General Manager ANZ – Food & Pharmaceutical.
Required Qualifications
- Significant leadership experience within laboratory operations or technical services
- Demonstrated success leading multi-site or multidisciplinary teams
- Strong commercial acumen with full P&L management experience
- Proven ability to develop and execute business strategy
- Experience leading organisational change and continuous improvement
- Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing capability
- Tertiary qualifications in Science, Food Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline
- Citizen or Permanent Resident of the country you are applying for, or either hold or be able to obtain, a valid working visa
