Job Summary
Country Manager for Japan responsible for developing and executing a regional sales strategy to drive revenue in cybersecurity. Leads and develops a regional sales team, coaches performance, recruits and trains new talent, and aligns sales with marketing, product, and inside sales. Manages distributors and channel/MSP partnerships, handles complex deals and escalations, and represents the company at industry events to promote solutions. Requires 10+ years leading a Japan sales team in cyber security, deep understanding of security products and services, strong leadership and communication skills, Salesforce CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel within Japan.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience managing a Japan sales team in cyber security
- Proven background and experience in IT cybersecurity with a vendor is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas consistently.
- Understanding of cybersecurity products and services (e.g., network security, endpoint protection, cloud security, identity and access management, secure Wi-Fi, MDR, NDR).
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency with CRM salesforce.com
- Ability to travel in Japan as needed.
