Job Summary
Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the German market, driving user acquisition, revenue growth, and local operations including marketing campaigns and partnership development. Lead brand awareness initiatives across social media and community events while building relationships with key stakeholders, local financial institutions, and industry partners. Navigate EU regulatory requirements such as MiCAR, MiFID, and EMI, monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks. Provide leadership and mentorship to the local team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and compliance to ensure alignment with company goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- at least 10 years of experience in marketing and/or business development
- Fluent in German and English
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages
Desired Qualifications
- MBA
- Prior experience as a crypto country manager or in the cryptocurrency industry
- Strong understanding of the German market, consumer behavior, and regulatory landscape (MiCA, MiFID, EMI)
- Established network within the DACH crypto and fintech ecosystem
- Results-oriented business mindset with a focus on driving measurable business outcomes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and challenges
