Job Summary
Lead Nigeria operations and commercial growth for KUK's food-ingredients distribution business by developing country strategies aligned with global mission and supplier expectations. Own the country P&L, grow sales through technical solution selling, and build the local team while ensuring regulatory compliance across bakeries, beverages, and food service. Manage stakeholder relationships, logistics partners, and local compliance with NAFDAC, SON, and Standards. Execute market intelligence including competitor tracking, pricing strategy, and new product launches, while driving forecasting, demand planning, and supplier relationship management. Modernize trade channels and optimize the ingredients portfolio mix through cross-selling.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Food Technology (or closely related to food science with proven food industry experience)
- Minimum of 8 – 12 years of experience with 3-5 years in Sales & Leadership
- Strong knowledge of local food industry dynamics and local food/regulatory requirements
- Product development enthusiasm – ability to support customers technically (formulations, troubleshooting)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in distribution of food ingredients (preferred)
