Job Summary
Country Logistics Manager responsible for leading the logistics function within Egypt, accountable for developing and executing a forward-looking logistics strategy that maximizes efficiency, reliability, scalability, and cost competitiveness. Acts as the senior interface with Logistics Service Providers, oversees end-to-end supply chain activities including materials planning, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, distribution, and regulatory compliance; drives continuous improvement and Lean initiatives; defines KPI/SLA frameworks; leads strategic sourcing and contract management; builds a data-driven culture with advanced reporting and predictive analytics; ensures inventory integrity and optimal working capital alignment; develops a high-performing logistics organization and ensures governance, risk management, and compliance across global standards. Requires 15+ years of leadership in logistics/supply chain, strong financial acumen, experience with budgeting and cost optimization, and proficiency in English; Bachelor’s degree required with MBA/advanced degree as a strong advantage; APICS certifications (CLTD/CSCP/CPIM) desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is a strong advantage
- Recognized professional certifications such as APICS (CLTD, CSCP, CPIM) are highly desirable
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management
- Experience in end-to-end supply chain including logistics operations, warehousing, inventory optimization, transportation, customs clearance, and regulatory frameworks
- Strong business and financial acumen with experience managing budgets and linking operational performance to financial outcomes
- Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional and international teams
- Experience operating in highly compliant, governance-driven environments
- Knowledge of production planning, demand-supply balancing, S&OP processes
- English proficiency at professional level
- Bachelor’s degree and MBA strongly favored
