Job Summary
Optics/physics-qualified professional to lead optical systems development in a team setting for automotive illumination at OPmobility. Responsibilities include proposal and supervision of optical systems development based on customer requirements and feasibility, coordination with multiple departments, presenting to customers and suppliers, leading a team of optical engineers, ensuring milestones and quality targets, training newcomers, and driving robust, cost-efficient solutions from design through production. Must demonstrate leadership in optical concept development, experience delivering multiple projects end-to-end, and strong communication in English (C1). Location noted as Pune, India with in-person engagement; role emphasizes planning, negotiation, and mentoring within a diverse, safety-conscious environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master degree in Optics or Physics
- English – advanced level (C1)
- 3-5 let/years
- CATIA, Light Tools, rendering software, GOM Inspect, MS Office
- Complete realization of at least 2 Projects (from design phase to serial production)
- At least 2 times leadership experience at optical concept development
