Job Summary
Countertop Sales Assistant / Expeditor to support the sales and operations team in a hybrid role that blends customer-facing sales support with project coordination and order fulfillment. Responsibilities include greeting customers in-person/phone/email, qualifying leads, scheduling showroom appointments, assisting with material/color selections, preparing quotes, taking/coordinating measurements, creating proposals, coordinating with production to maintain timelines, managing job files and updates for customers, ensuring documentation is complete, maintaining an organized showroom, processing paperwork, supporting CRM/job-tracking systems, and conducting pre/post-installation quality checks. The role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, comfort with MAC and CRM software, clear communication with customers, basic blueprint-reading, and occasional local travel for measurements or site visits.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years in sales, customer service, or project coordination (home improvement, kitchen/bath, countertops, cabinetry, or building materials preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Comfortable using MAC computer with basic software, CRM/job tracking software
- Professional, friendly communication style with the ability to build trust with customers
- Ability to read basic blueprints/drawings and take field measurements is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (occasional local travel for measurements or site visits may be required)
