Job Summary
Analyze material variances in the credit portfolio and prepare clear summaries of findings for stakeholder discussions. Develop and maintain recurring management reports, including end-to-end report lifecycle management from ideation to automation, while assisting with ad-hoc point-in-time and trend analysis. Ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements for credit portfolio review materials. Collaborate with Data Control, Credit Risk IT squads, and business units to onboard emerging data into credit risk systems and escalate data issues for remediation. Maintain and enhance SQL queries and reporting processes to facilitate automated risk monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Computer Science, or Engineering
- 3 or more years of work experience in an investment bank, commercial bank or consulting firm
- Understanding of Credit/Market Risk Concepts, lending and/or traded products e.g Derivatives
- Experience with business intelligence software (Tableau, Qlikview, Power BI, etc.)
- Sufficient knowledge of programming languages such as Python
- Proactive, solution-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills including the ability to summarize information for delivery to senior management
- Ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple deliverables
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, and VBA
