Counterparty Credit Risk Senior Associate

Job Summary
Analyze financial statements of banks, broker-dealers, and other financial firms to identify credit risks, mitigants, and trends. Independently perform annual reviews and ongoing surveillance of member firms to assess creditworthiness, while reviewing new member applications against DTCC requirements. Maintain the credit risk rating matrix and monitor compliance with established financial parameters, accounting for new regulatory pronouncements. Apply advanced credit knowledge to assist in designing credit risk monitoring tools and automation initiatives. Collaborate with internal departments including Market Risk, Product Management, and Legal to align risk and control processes for day-to-day monitoring and mitigation. Manage a portfolio of complex counterparties while adhering to risk-related policies and promoting a risk management mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
