Job Summary
The Soil Counter/Sorter handles, counts, sorts and records incoming soiled textiles from customers, identifies damaged textiles, and transfers textiles to other departments. Responsibilities include sorting by type/size/color, counting textiles manually or electronically, recording into sorting systems, meeting efficiency and safety standards, and following supervision. Additional duties may include working in other production positions as needed. Required Qualifications
- Recognize colors and sizes
- Count textiles accurately
- Follow instructions from supervision
- Open bag of soiled textiles and sort by type, size, and color
- Meet efficiency and safety standards
- Able to stand, walk, reach overhead, push, pull, lift up to 50 lbs
