Job Summary
The Soil Counter/Sorter is responsible for handling, counting, sorting, and recording incoming soiled textiles. This role includes opening bags, sorting textiles by type, size, and color, counting them manually or electronically, identifying damaged textiles, and meeting efficiency and safety standards. The position also requires physical activity such as standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working in varying environmental conditions typical of an industrial laundry facility. Candidates should be able to recognize colors, count accurately, and follow directions.
