Job Summary
Greet guests upon entry with eye contact and a smile, then listen closely to take orders while checking identification for alcohol compliance. Enter orders accurately into the POS system, collect payment, and assemble orders before delivering them while repeating the order number and food items. Resolve minor guest issues with urgency, communicate feedback to management, and educate guests on menu items, ingredients, and cooking methods. Maintain dining area cleanliness, roll silverware, set up stations, and monitor stock levels throughout the shift. Adhere to a consistent schedule, complete required training, and uphold ethical business practices to support the MHRG brand. Valid Food Handler Certificate required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Food Handler Certificate
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays
- Must comply with dress standards
- Authorization to work in the USA
- Must be friendly and guest service oriented
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a sense of urgency
- Ability to work as a team-player
- Able to understand English and to follow simple verbal direction
- Detail orientated, organized and efficient
- Learns quickly and has ability to take direction
- High quality standards for production and service
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Must have problem solving abilities, be self-motivated and organized
- Commitment to quality service, and food and beverage knowledge
- Must possess neat and clean hygiene
Desired Qualifications
- Previous server or cashier experience preferred
