Job Summary
Provide counter sales support at the Apopka Profit Center, confidently assist customers who purchase and/or pick up merchandise, accurately process and fill sales orders, attract and retain customers, work with the Profit Center Manager to establish revenue and margin targets, verify pick ticket dates, obtain customer signatures, furnish product specifications, pricing, and availability, maintain clean and stocked displays, uphold security and controls at the customer contact point, communicate changes affecting credit risk to the Credit Manager, process cash sale returns per policy, monitor inventory levels, assist teammates with customer service, receptions calls, warehouse stocking, and order pulling, complete required safety and compliance training, and perform other duties as assigned; requires 1+ years of customer service or counter sales experience, strong customer service, verbal communication, listening skills, product knowledge, ability to upsell, and ability to use computer systems and basic math.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years’ experience in customer service or counter sales; contractor sales preferred.
- Possess a proper and valid driver’s license
- Knowledge of products sold in the Profit Center
- Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
