Counter Salesperson

Job Summary
Assist customers with merchandise purchases and pickups, collect payments via point-of-sale systems, and maintain a neat counter area while updating product displays. Support team members by answering phone calls, stocking merchandise, and pulling orders for delivery. Provide alternative suggestions or complementary products, apply existing mechanical knowledge such as HVAC or plumbing, and educate customers on comprehensive product knowledge. Maintain quality of service while supporting inquiries for local plumbers, contractors, and designers. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds, basic computer experience, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Candidates must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic computer experience such as Microsoft Office, Point-of-Sale and another internal database software
