Job Summary
Greet customers at the sales counter, provide product recommendations, and process transactions using POS systems. Maintain inventory levels by restocking shelves, conducting stock counts, and coordinating with warehouse teams for order fulfillment. Resolve customer complaints professionally, keep the sales area organized, and support promotional activities to meet sales targets. Requires high school diploma, HVAC retail experience, and ability to stand for extended periods. Bilingual Spanish is a plus. This role drives sales growth and fosters repeat business within our customer-facing team.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous HVAC experience in retail sales or customer service
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform light physical tasks such as lifting merchandise
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a counter sales role within a related industry such as hardware, automotive, or consumer goods
- Familiarity with inventory management software
- Additional training or certification in customer service or sales techniques
- Bilingual (Spanish is a plus) abilities to assist a diverse customer base
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales goals
