Job Summary
Monitor the unloading of materials into the facility, ensuring they are staged for counting and inspection while resolving discrepancies with accounting regarding invoices and receiver reports. Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, placement, and presentations across all departments, and maintain a clean store environment by dusting, mopping floors, and cleaning restrooms. Aiding customers by answering questions and helping them locate merchandise, perform all duties in the store POS checkout environment, and comply with policies through regular audits. Ability to work flexible hours including weekday and weekend shifts to meet the needs of the business, stand for extended periods, and lift 50 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- High School degree
- Previous experience in a retail environment either in sales or merchandising roles
- Possess product knowledge of hardware-related and/or plumbing products along with a willingness to learn
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekday and weekend shifts to meet the needs of the business
- Ability to travel to other store locations if needed
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift 50 pounds frequently to load and unload customer orders
