Job Summary
Conduct counter sales and perform essential repairs for broken hydraulic hoses and fittings. Assemble components using hand and power tools, verify specifications with measuring instruments, and execute quality control checks on all work. Prepare work by studying parts lists, gathering materials, and positioning subassemblies according to templates. Maintain a clean work area and equipment while following written instructions and diagrams. Provide face-to-face solutions to customers walking into the Leesburg, FL location.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly of hydraulic hoses
- Knowledge of quality control processes and procedures
- Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to sell solutions/products to customers at the front counter
- Ability to follow instructions and diagrams as delivered for each product
- Uses hand tools or machines to assemble hoses and fittings
- Conducts quality control checks
- Cleans and maintains work area and equipment, including tools
- Prepares work to be accomplished by studying parts lists and gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
- Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements
- Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies
- Verifies specifications by measuring completed component with tools such as a manual tape measure, calipers, micrometers, cutting tools, automated machinery and sharp objects
- Sales experience or willingness to sell to customers, provide solutions and create outstanding customer experiences with face to face interactions
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/production-based environment
Desired Qualifications
- Warehouse and inventory experience preferred
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, construction, or assembly role of hydraulic hoses and fittings is preferred
