Job Summary
Counter Sales Representative at Ferguson Waterworks location in Morrisville, NC. Provides product recommendations to customers, processes orders via order management system, operates cash registers, stages orders for pickup, maintains store appearance and merchandising, restocks merchandise, and adheres to safety/PPE guidelines. Requires 2-5 years of customer service or sales experience (Waterworks/Construction a plus); basic product knowledge; ability to lift and handle merchandise; strong communication and math skills; familiarity with POS and office software; willingness to comply with safety protocols; starting pay around $20/hour with potential for higher based on experience; schedule Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of customer service or sales experience preferred
- Experience in Waterworks or Construction is a plus
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of products is preferred
- General computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
- Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
- General math skills to allow for cash accounting
