Job Summary
Counter Sales Professional at Tropic Supply, a Florida-based HVAC and refrigeration distributor. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Customer service experience in a hands-on, high-volume environment
- Basic computer proficiency, including data entry, order processing, and point-of-sale or inventory systems
- Clear, professional, and patient communication under pressure
- Strong attention to accuracy and the judgment to ask when unsure
- Self-directed work ethic with no need for constant supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at a parts counter
- Familiarity serving HVAC technicians, refrigeration contractors, mechanics, or similar trade professionals
- Comfort with product lookups, order entry, and fast-paced counter operations
