Job Summary
Greet walk-in customers, assist in identifying plumbing needs, and provide product recommendations based on their requirements. Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system while maintaining showroom cleanliness and proper product display. Stock shelves to ensure adequate inventory availability and answer inquiries regarding pricing, availability, and specifications. Collaborate with the warehouse team to fulfill orders, handle customer complaints professionally, and assist with special promotions. Stay current on industry trends and pricing updates while following safety protocols and cash handling guidelines to achieve sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in retail sales
- Strong knowledge of plumbing products, including fixtures, pipes, fittings, and accessories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using computerized point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work holidays as required
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, bend, stoop, and stand or extended periods
