Counter Sales Representative

Job Summary
Assist customers at the sales counter by providing product recommendations and solutions for plumbing fixtures, fittings, pipes, valves, and related accessories. Manage inquiries about product availability, specifications, pricing, and applications; process sales orders, quotes, and invoices using the company’s order entry system; verify pricing and discounts; educate customers on products and industry trends. Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell related products, coordinate order fulfillment with warehouse and logistics teams, and handle cash, credit card, and check transactions. Maintain a clean, organized counter area, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with sales, customer service, warehouse, and management to meet customer needs and achieve sales targets.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or counter sales, preferably in the plumbing wholesale industry
