Job Summary
Counter Sales Representative for HVAC/R wholesale distributor; you will lead a store-front counter sales team, assist customers (dealers, business owners, and HVAC contractors) with the right products, coordinate delivery/pickup, learn HVAC residential systems, and support inventory control and bid quoting. The role emphasizes customer-focused service, attention to detail, teamwork with warehouse and sales teams, and a growth mindset to drive sales and profitability. Responsibilities include guiding product selection, maintaining positive customer relationships, performing or learning bid quotes, understanding warehouse operations, and upholding safety and company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have either HVAC/R selling experience, or distribution counter sales knowledge of at least two years
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication skills (Outlook)
- A proven track record of inventory management and warehouse experience
- Valid Driver’s license/driving record
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must be able to meet mobility requirements including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Pre-employment drug test and background check
