Job Summary
Counter Sales for Contractor, Industrial & OEM Market including quotations, order entry, tracking and proactive customer service; build and maintain strong vendor relationships; pursue gross margin and market-share growth; promote DOTP/CUST service guarantees; serve Will Call customers; assist with daily merchandising and warehouse tasks (wire cuts, filling orders, loading delivery truck); requires on-site attendance and a usual 40-hour work week with possible evenings/weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Previous sales experience preferred
- Product knowledge in electrical field preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated problem solver in a team environment
- Positive attitude
- Willingness to improve skill level
- Experience with Microsoft Office/Excel/Word
- Proficiency in Solar Eclipse preferred
- Ability to stand and lift up to 50lbs
- On-site attendance required
- 40-hour work-week; Monday–Friday; potential evening/weekend hours
