Job Summary
Greet, assist, and service all customers by answering product questions, recommending items, and building relationships to meet their project needs. Process orders, payments, and returns while assisting with larger quotes and estimates. Work with inside sales to contact existing house accounts and increase sales through tailored solutions and upselling additional lines. Maintain showroom cleanliness, stock shelves, and assist with cycle counts to ensure accurate system information. Provide small project estimates and communicate effectively to resolve customer challenges regarding credits, returns, and exchanges.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum education of High School or equivalent
- Must be able to work as a team
- Must be able to communicate effectively
- Good understanding of contractor sales process
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools
- Proficient with Point of Sale Programs
- Ability to lift files
- Ability to open filing cabinets
- Ability to bend
- Ability to stand on a stool as necessary
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time
- Exerting up to 80 pounds of force seldom
- Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally
- Exerting a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects
Desired Qualifications
- 1-2 years sales experience preferred but not required
