Job Summary
Counter Sales associate for HVAC products, selling in person at the sales counter and over the phone; quoting prices on standard items, entering orders into the computer system, and coordinating with other personnel to deliver quotations on special items. Maintains customer relationships, provides product knowledge to satisfy customer needs, and supports sales through order processing, timely updates, and follow-up on deliveries. Requires excellent attendance and customer-focused service.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- General knowledge of HVAC
- General knowledge of sheet metal products fabrication is a plus
- Administrative/Clerical experience
- Experience with MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen
- Strong verbal communication skills and phone skills
- Customer-oriented and motivated
- Ability to analyze customer needs and recommend proper actions
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and deadlines
- Ability to keep abreast of product applications and technology trends
