Job Summary
Engage customers proactively at the counter, on the phone, and via email to understand their needs and recommend solutions. Serve as a product expert by continuously learning and applying knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, and related products to guide customer decisions. Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities to upsell, cross-sell, and promote strategic products and programs. Utilize tools and resources to locate parts and process transactions efficiently while ensuring accuracy. Collaborate with Outside Sales Associates to support account growth and manage special orders, back-orders, and delivery timelines. Maintain a professional counter environment and assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and stock organization. Adhere to all safety regulations, including proper use of PPE. Work Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4pm, plus one Saturday shift monthly.
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in customer service or sales
- Sales mindset with ability to meet goals, build relationships, and influence purchasing decisions
- Strong communication skills for consultative selling and customer engagement
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Digital literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly
- Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm plus 1 Saturday(8am-11am) a month
