Job Summary
The Counter Sales Associate drives sales and customer satisfaction by assisting walk-in and telephone customers with product selection and order fulfillment. This role leverages technical knowledge to solve customer needs and build lasting relationships. Core duties include: pulling, filling, packing, and setting up orders for delivery or pickup; inventory logging, audits, and returns processing; providing product information, pricing, and availability; greeting customers professionally and resolving issues; maintaining a clean counter and product displays; upselling complementary products and applying pricing/credit guidelines; building relationships with diverse customer types and collaborating with the team to uphold company standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Product, applications, or wholesale distribution experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours daily
- Able to stoop, bend, and reach inventory; work in indoor and outdoor environments
