Job Summary
The Counter Sales Associate 1 is responsible for selling the organization’s products and services to prospective and established customers through various communication methods. Key responsibilities include providing excellent customer service, executing sales functions such as order processing and payment processing, generating new and repeat sales, and educating customers about product features. The position requires effective customer service skills, knowledge of HVAC products, strong communication abilities, and organizational skills. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required, along with 1 to 3 years of sales experience.
Required Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of progressive sales experience
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to establish positive working relationships
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of HVAC equipment/products preferred
- General Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
