Job Summary
Counter Sales Associate at Airgas in La Crosse, WI, balancing high-energy customer interaction with operational support. You will advise customers on industrial, medical, and specialty gases, welding equipment, and related supplies; demonstrate equipment use; educate on product quality; process orders and pricing; coordinate transfers between locations; support call strategies to grow the branch; maintain showroom displays and assist with deliveries and costs. Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent required
- 2-5 years of experience in product, warehouse, or sales environments
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Experience in industrial retail, inside sales, or inventory control is a plus
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and move up to 150 pounds with aid of equipment
- Availability for occasional overtime
- Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace
