Counter Parts Sales Representative

Job Summary
Sell heavy-duty truck and trailer parts to customers by phone or in person, determine sales price, locate and obtain ordered parts from central warehouse or branch, handle warranty or defective parts, process credits for returns, and maintain an organized counter area. Provide current product catalogs, answer questions about products, prices, and availability, and proactively study catalogs, price sheets, bulletins, changes, additions, and deletions during downtime. Ensure counter parts area is clean and displays encourage sales.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in sales; sales of heavy-duty automotive parts preferred
