Counter Parts Sales Rep

Conduct heavy-duty truck and trailer parts sales via phone or in-person by determining customer needs, locating ordered parts from central warehouses or branches, and processing approved credits for returns. Suggest related parts for full service, determine sales prices per company procedure, and handle warranty claims for defective items. Maintain confidentiality of pricing lists, answer customer questions regarding product features and availability, and provide current catalogs. Utilize non-selling time to review price sheets, bulletins, and catalog changes. Ensure the counter parts area remains clean and display areas encourage sales. Requires minimum two years in sales with heavy-duty automotive parts experience; involves lifting up to 50 pounds and standing or walking as needed.
