Job Summary
Counter Customer Service Representative role based at the St. Thomas, ON counter location. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing and quoting orders, sourcing products for special orders, processing returns, reconciling cash and credit card sales, maintaining counter inventory, supporting marketing initiatives, building customer relationships, and providing product knowledge through training and vendor resources. Requires at least 1 year of WFS warehouse experience, a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong customer service and communication skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, knowledge of dangerous goods/WHMIS, and proficiency with computers. Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year WFS warehouse experience required
- Completion of high school diploma, or equivalent experience
- Previous customer service experience would be an asset
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and personal commitment to get the job done
- Demonstrated ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Team-player and an ability to work independently
- Knowledge of industrial and/or safety products is preferred
- Superior interpersonal, problem solving and customer service skills to effectively build relationships
- Strong communication skills, ability to convey message in an organized, clear, and effective manner
- Self-starter, taking action to achieve goals beyond what is required
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Proficient computer skills and aptitude
- Knowledge of dangerous goods and WHMIS regulations is required
