Job Summary
Conduct systems analysis and technical management to develop Missile Defense System capabilities for identifying lethal objects. Formulate options to improve discrimination and electronic protection capabilities while performing technical performance assessments and risk analysis. Develop technology maturation plans to transfer potential technologies to program offices and manage integrated schedules and engineering requirements. This role supports the Counter-Countermeasures and Discrimination Directorate within a multi-discipline team. Success requires expertise in radar signal processing, object classification, and electronic protection, along with knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes and Missile Defense fundamentals.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a STEM field
- Minimum of 12 years of experience
- Expertise in radar signal processing
- Expertise in scheduling
- Expertise in object classification
- Expertise in electronic protection
- Systems engineering analysis and process management
- Development and review of engineering requirements
- Development and review of concepts of operations
- Development and review of integrated schedules
- Technical performance assessments
- Risk analysis and mitigation development
- Electronic attack/protection modeling development
- Experience in developing technology maturation plans
- Active Secret clearance
- Ability to qualify for a TS/SCI clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
- Knowledge of MDA systems engineering processes
- Knowledge of Missile Defense fundamentals to include radar limitations
- Knowledge of electro-optic fundamentals
- Knowledge of radar hardware and design
