Job Summary
Counter Associate/Representative to deliver in-store customer service, handle counter sales for paint and coatings, process telephone orders, mix paint and prepare orders for delivery or pickup, manage inventory and pricing, maintain color-room records, support outside sales, and ensure professional customer interactions. Role emphasizes accuracy in order entry, pricing, and record-keeping, with duties including answering inquiries, processing orders, assisting with in-store customer service, disposing of waste per regulations, and maintaining equipment and workspace. Requires strong customer-service skills, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; includes drug screening and MVR checks during hiring.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1+ year(s) of Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Counter Sales preferred
- Clean driving record and valid license
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Tolerable to the smell of paint
