Job Summary
Counter Associate position performing in-store customer service, counter sales, and order processing. Responsibilities include receiving and entering telephone orders, assisting walk-in customers, preparing paint orders and mixing according to standard or custom formulas, stocking and reconciling inventory, maintaining customer records and pricing, supporting outside sales, and ensuring quality service. Additional duties include handling color room records, processing inquiries, assisting with inside customer service, answering calls, and ensuring proper disposal of waste materials in compliance with regulations. Requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year of related experience preferred, valid driver's license, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, tolerance to paint smell, and willingness to undergo drug screening; automotive/paint experience is preferred and training is available.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED required
- 1+ year(s) of Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Counter Sales preferred
- Clean driving record and valid license
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Drug screen and MVR requirements
- Automotive/Automotive Paint experience preferred, willing to train the right person
