Job Summary
Collect and count slot cash boxes from the gaming floor, then perform cash and ticket counts in the Count Room. Process drop boxes and associated gaming revenues to support profitability and compliance goals. Collect funds from slot machines, cashless wagering kiosks, parking kiosks, and arcade games; count, sort, strap, rack, transport, and record all funds. Maintain proficiency with drop and count equipment while completing daily maintenance. Open slots machines, remove cash boxes, and transport them to carts, lifting up to 50 lbs. Walk and stand 50% of the time. Requires a High School Diploma/GED, one year of work experience, and ability to read, write, and speak English. Must qualify for a Pennsylvania State Racing Commission license.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 1 year of prior work experience
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read, write, and speak English
- ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies
- ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to present information and respond to questions from employees and guests
- ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
- ability to write reports
- ability to perform basic math skills
- ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form
- ability to interpret a variety of instructions (i.e., written, oral, etc.)
- Basic computer knowledge
- competence in Microsoft Office applications
- Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission
- meet any credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board
- Must have the ability to lift 50 lbs
- Position requires Walking 50% of the time
- Standing 50% of the time
