Job Summary
Conduct daily drop and count services by pulling, securing, and transporting bill validator boxes and table game drop boxes from slot machines and table games. Operate currency counter machines and count currency and tickets by hand while adhering to all gaming laws, regulations, and internal controls. Prepare appropriate paperwork, make computer entries, and assist in special projects as assigned. Maintain a friendly, helpful manner with customers and report safety hazards to management. Perform duties safely while standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and occasionally pushing carts weighing more than 100 pounds. Must obtain a Gaming License and have good math skills. Work within an enclosed/secured area with moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to extreme cold.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Individual must be able to work in an enclosed/secured area
- Good ethics
- Good attendance record
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other team members of the organization
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Some basic computer skills
- Must be able to obtain a Gaming License
- Previous experience handling large amounts of money
- Must have good math skills
- Must occasionally lift 25 pounds
- Must occasionally push cart into place (more than 100 pounds) with another team member

Desired Qualifications
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Some experience with currency counting machines
- Knowledge of and enforcement of all gaming laws and regulations which apply to the functions and duties of the Count Services Department
- Exhibit a friendly, helpful and courteous manner when dealing with customers and fellow team members
