Job Summary
Manage and supervise Count Room and Count Team activities by overseeing the collection, sorting, counting, and reconciling of daily cash and coin receipts, and preparing deposits for all facility revenues. Complete daily paperwork and reconciliations, prepare staff schedules, and conduct performance appraisals for Count Team Supervisors and Members. Liaise with regulators, the Cage Manager, and other departments regarding Count Room activities, investigate electronic gaming machine money claim disputes, and ensure safe work practices and compliance with policies. This role requires strong accounting skills, leadership abilities, and experience handling large amounts of cash. Required Qualifications
- Strong accounting skills
- Proven leadership abilities
- Comprehensive knowledge of Count Team and Count Room activities
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to field disputes and address in an appropriate and timely manner
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Working knowledge with computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, email, internet navigation, and presentation software
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot gaming, cash and coin machinery
- 2 years supervisory work experience
- 1 year experience as a casino Count Team Supervisor or similar experience
- Successful completion of courses/training required by regulators
