Job Summary
Counselor at Tisinger Elementary School in Mesquite ISD providing personal, academic, and career development support for students. Delivers individual and group counseling, leads developmentally appropriate guidance activities, plans orientation and scheduling, and collaborates with teachers, parents, and administrators. Supports PEIMS data reporting, 504/ARD processes, referrals to special education, and coordination with community agencies. Helps students with post-secondary options and financial aid processes; delivers professional development on child abuse reporting, 504, and suicide prevention; maintains records and adheres to district policies.
Required Qualifications
