Job Summary
Telehealth Counselor oversees all aspects of a patient’s treatment from admission through discharge and follow-up, providing comprehensive psychological therapy for addiction treatment, developing and reviewing treatment plans, guiding orientation and program expectations, and coordinating referrals and resources while maintaining compliant documentation and participating in supervision, case conferences, and ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a social science discipline
- Licensed or certified by the Virginia Health Registry Board or by a nationally recognized certification board or CSAC eligible
- At least one year substance abuse related experience
