Job Summary
Supervise counselors and interns delivering treatment and casework services while ensuring timely documentation and identifying patient needs. Monitor patient progress, assign and amend caseloads, screen potential patients, and facilitate intakes. Conduct quality assurance file reviews, countersign assessments for interns, and manage related expenditures within budget. Facilitate performance discussions, assist with new hire training and interviews, and oversee annual trainings. Provide guidance on licensure, monitor attendance, complete incident reports, and communicate concerns to leadership. Participate in staff meetings and program development activities.
Required Qualifications
- SUD Counselor in CA
- supervisory experience
- Bachelor's in Behavioral Science
- equivalent in experience
- Graduate level degree
- Experience with SUD
- ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- chart accurately
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
- Satisfactory drug screen
- criminal background check
