Job Summary
Supervise counselors and interns delivering treatment and casework services while ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and BayMark policies. Monitor patient progress, assign and amend caseloads, screen potential patients, and facilitate intake processes. Conduct quality assurance file reviews, countersign assessments for interns, and manage related expenditures within the fiscal budget. Facilitate performance improvement discussions, employee evaluations, and annual trainings. Assist in new hire training, interviews, and program development activities. Provide guidance on licensure, monitor attendance, complete incident reports, and communicate concerns to leadership. Travel as necessary for clinic operations.
Required Qualifications
- SUD Counselor in CA
- supervisory experience
- Bachelor's in Behavioral Science
- equivalent in experience
- Graduate level degree
- Experience with SUD
- ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans
- chart accurately
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- positive, non-judgmental, and accepting attitude toward our patient population
- Satisfactory drug screen
- criminal background check
